For the 2018 edition of the Wines of Portugal events in Montreal and Toronto, the communication agency SOPEXA Canada hired Connect&GO to provided RFID solutions to connect consumers with restaurateurs and wine makers at the event. Guests scanned at each booth to save the info about the wine they tasted. Post-event, each guest received a personalized email outlining which wineries they had sampled from and general information about the event. Wine makers and representatives received a list of all the guests who scanned at their booth; allowing for targeted direct communication with the consumer.
