The project

Connect&GO provided RFID sunglasses used for access control during Quebec City’s ComediHa! festival. Guests scanned the side of their sunglasses for entrance to the event and various zones on-site. This was a fun and creative way to incorporate RFID technology into the festival atmosphere. Each pair of sunglasses was linked to a personalized profile, allowing their information to be registered within the system each time they scanned. Organizers were able to refer to the access dashboard at any time to review overall attendance, crowd-capacity and high-traffic zones. Guests enjoyed having a creative way to access the event, and shield their eyes from the sun at the same time!
