This week marks the official launch of one of our newest products – the Parkpass – a connected wearable designed specially for amusement parks, water parks and family entertainment centers. We’re in Orlando for the week to introduce the Parkpass to industry professionals looking for innovative solutions for their parks and attractions. With over 30,000 attendees from around the world, the International Association of Amusement Parks Association (IAAPA) trade show is the ideal location for our launch.

What it Does  The Parkpass offers park operators a comprehensive platform with a variety of key features including: access control, locker management, cashless payments and experiential activations. Guests register their Parkpass to a personalized online profile and then scan throughout the park to get the most out of their visit.

Consumer Behavior Insight  The ParkPass not only offers a fun and convenient way for guests to experience an amusement or water park, but it is also a way for park operators to gain valuable insight into consumer behavior and purchasing patterns. Data collected in real-time can be visualized in the Parkpass dashboard to act on an opportunity instantly as well as optimize operations, sales strategies, marketing initiatives and build customer profiles.

Revenue-Generating Opportunity  The Parkpass is also a new revenue-generating opportunity for amusement parks and family entertainment centers. Customized wristbands can be offered at an additional fee, encouraging guests to purchase an upgraded version and/or season pass to the park. Loyalty programs are maximized using the Parkpass point system, and experiential activations such as print-on-site photo kiosks and instant social media sharing cameras provide additional opportunities for increased spend-per-head.
