Product Owner

Role Description

Much like the industry that we are in, we describe being a part of our team as thrilling, suspenseful, and exhilarating! We will immerse you into what it looks like to join Connect&GO as a Product Owner. Working with a driven and intrapreneurial team, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between product strategy and development by determining our customer’s present and future needs, as we carefully plan our growth trajectory in Canada, the US, and Europe for our access control, payment experiential and venue operations management solutions.  

The Experience

  • As a part of the product team, you’ll be a problem solver expert when it comes to understanding our customers’ needs and desires to strategically integrate chosen features in our products; Konnect, Play&GO and Kapture.  
  • You will work closely with our Product Director and take initiative in drafting and refining stories into tasks with your end goal to become our expert storyteller!   
  • You’ll be leading and prioritizing product backlog, as well as organizing the development team’s user stories to work on in upcoming sprints.  
  • You’ll be working very closely with our quality assurance experts to ensure clear acceptance criteria are defined and support the development & execution of acceptance tests. 
  • You are familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban, and willing to contribute to the team’s continuous improvement efforts. 
  • You’re a true collaborator and excellent communicator, whether it’s being available for the development team to answer user-story questions or when it comes to pitching innovative ideas for product features to our internal stakeholders.  
  • Processes and timelines are within your comfort zone, which makes your role extremely valuable in helping Connect&GO bring its product to market successfully! 
  • If you consider yourself an opportunist, eager to reinvent and implement innovative ways in product optimization, you will feel right at home with us!

  • To equip you for this adventure, we use the following tools Jira, LucidChart, ProductPlan and Figma.
