Head of Culture and Talent

Role Description

We are looking for a Culture & Talent Specialist to join our growing team. You will be responsible to spearhead Connect&GO’s culture & talent initiatives and implement a positive, innovative & result-driven work environment: best in class policies, employee engagement initiatives, employer branding, talent selection, hiring and onboarding. Working closely with the executive team, your role is to foster the environment to make Connect&GO one of the best places to work and to maximize the potential of everyone in our team. 


  • Work with the leadership team to create an amazing and fulfilling work environment 
  • Lead initiatives to develop and enhance the company culture, based on solid vision, mission and values 
  • Design & implement a leadership development program 
  • Create & administer a best in class employee onboarding program with a WOW factor; 
  • Develop & implement innovative HR policy guides, procedures and programs 
  • Coordinate the quarterly performance assessment process and the compensation review process 
  • Lead employer branding initiatives 
  • Take charge of functional HR activities: contracts, benefits enrolment, HRMS maintenance, employee onboardings & terminations 
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs 
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements 
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews 
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants, potential candidates and academic institutions 


  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Leadership Development or other relevant field 
  • Drive to make a difference in a fast pace growing organization 
  • Proven work experience in talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational culture and/or organizational development 
  • Superior communication skills, to be able to connect with all levels of the organization 
  • Capability to design, implement & constantly improve best in class employee programs & policies 
  • Experience and established network in the tech startups ecosystem is an asset 
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods 
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and LinkedIn Recruiter 
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
