Connect&GO is proud to announce its acquisition of Dator Inc., an industry pioneer in management and operations software for the leisure and attractions industries.
Founded in 1987, Dator has worked with prominent clients such as Oxford Properties (a giant indoor amusement park in Galleries de la Capitale in Québec), Park Safari, the Saint-Félicien Zoo and Ubisoft as well as numerous ski resorts in Canada. Each year, the company’s SiS software facilitates ticket sales surpassing $100M in revenues.
According to Dominic Gagnon, Co-Founder of Connect&GO, “The Dator ecosystem will be a powerful addition to our offering at Connect&GO. After reviewing a number of potential acquisitions, we found the Dator software to be the most complete solution, and the most complementary option on the market.”
The Dator solution includes a ticketing system, a point of sale (POS) system, an activity management platform, restaurant management software, a hospitality and property management system (PMS), a rental and inventory module, a loyalty platform, employee management and ski school software and much more.

With this transaction, Connect&GO will welcome close to 20 talented Dator professionals, with extensive experience in the permanent installations market, to its growing team. The company foresees major investments in the next two years, including the creation of approximately 30 new positions. Connect&GO has been actively fundraising since the start of the year, raising more than $6M in funding to support this expansion of the company.
A record year for permanent installations
In the last year, Connect&GO has become a key player in the ski resort industry with the introduction of its customizable Ski&GO platform. The RFID solution has already been implemented at numerous ski resorts for the 2019-2020 season. The company has also signed major contracts with Hasbro (theme parks) and Lake Elsinore, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers. Connect&GO RFID wristbands will also be used at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo in August 2020.
Connect&GO will present its latest offering at the IAAPA 2019 Paris conference this September.
