With impressive growth in the last five years, the Montreal-based company joins Canada’s top ranking.
Connect&GO is thrilled to announce its position at No.204 on the 2019 Growth 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies. Connect&GO also ranks No.27 for Fastest-Growing IT Companies in Canada, No.29 for Fastest-Growing Companies in Montreal. Growth 500 ranks private and public Canadian companies based on five-year revenue growth. This is the second consecutive year Connect&GO has been included in the Growth 500 ranking. The list of top-performing companies will be published in a special report in the October issue of Maclean’s magazine and at CanadianBusiness.com. Quebec-based winners will also be featured in L’actualité magazine’s ranking of “Les Leaders de la croissance”.
Five-year growth and beyond
Connect&GO has seen exponential growth in the last five years. With an ever-extending list of new clients and projects, the company has developed digital solutions for both the events space and the permanent installations industry. Connect&GO also recently acquired Dator Inc., a leader in management and operations software for the leisure and entertainment industries. The Dator software will be a powerful addition to Connect&GO’s offering, allowing the company to reach even more clients in Canada and around the world. Securing a position on the Growth 500 list is an important step for Connect&GO, and a benchmark of the company’s continued success.
“It’s rare that we have time to stop and look back at how far we’ve come but it’s clear that our incredibly agile team are being recognized for their commitment to innovation and a steady pace through our growth. We couldn’t be prouder to work with such a phenomenal group of people,” says Anthony Palermo, Co-Founder of Connect&GO.
Building a team for success
With its recent acquisition of Dator Inc., Connect&GO has welcomed close to 20 talented professionals with extensive experience in the permanent installations market. The company foresees major investments in the next two years, including the creation of approximately 30 new positions. Connect&GO has been actively fundraising since the start of the year, raising more than $6M in funding to support the company’s expansion. Strategic internal appointments have also recently been announced; creating an executive committee that will propel Connect&GO’s growth moving forward.
According to Dominic Gagnon, Co-Founder of Connect&GO, “In order to deliver on our growth plan for the next few years, we needed a world-class executive committee with a proven capacity for strategic thinking. Everything is now in place for us to reach our objectives.”
A source of national pride
Now in its 31st year, the Growth 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies showcases businesses from all over the country, and more than a dozen different industries. The ranking is a celebration of economic growth in Canada and, together, the companies on the Growth 500 list employ more than 70,000 people full-time; and have created nearly 37,000 net new jobs in the past five years. Connect&GO is honoured to be a part of such a driven and successful professional network.
